What registration provides
Registration gives you access to a private matching profile for Pass the Helm’s private boat-stewardship introduction network. It supports matching administration. There is no recurring registration charge. An owner may never choose you, and there may be no suitable opportunities.
Required profile after payment
Successful payment activates registration. You must complete every essential matching field to be considered for tailored introductions. Opportunity emails require your opt-in. You may edit your preferences or pause matching later through a private email access link. No prepayment approval or interview is required.
Payments are final
All registration payments are final. No refunds, except where required by applicable law. Registration does not purchase a boat, a waiting-list position, a minimum number of emails, or priority with an owner. Do not register if you require a guaranteed result.
Responsibilities and owner choice
Supply accurate information about your experience, plans, repair capacity, travel, and storage. Owners control whom they trust and must agree before an introduction or sharing of their details. An introduction does not certify title, condition, seaworthiness, a person’s qualifications, or a transfer outcome. Parties arrange their own inspections, documentation, and any legitimate obligations directly.
Payment handling
Stripe processes the registration payment. Pass the Helm does not store card numbers or handle funds for a vessel transfer. A reversed or disputed registration payment may pause matching while reviewed. If a payment appears duplicated or incomplete, contact us before paying again.
Privacy, contact, and changes
Read our privacy notice. Use Contact for questions, correction/deletion requests, or a payment issue. If Pass the Helm’s operator seeks to acquire a boat personally, that interest is disclosed directly to its owner before an acquisition discussion.
