You may send a free private owner submission or contact message for private review. You must have permission to provide the information and photos you send. Tell us what you know honestly; unknown details are welcome. Do not send material you do not have permission to share.
No guaranteed outcome
A submission does not guarantee a response time, introduction, transfer, title, condition, or seaworthiness. Owners retain the choice of whom to trust. Parties must independently assess ownership, authority, claims, obligations, condition, and applicable transfer requirements, with professional advice as needed.
No boat-transfer payments
Pass the Helm does not operate auctions or public classified listings, hold transfer deposits, collect funds for vessel transfers, negotiate payments for others, or take a percentage. Legitimate transfer expenses are handled directly between the parties. Any personal acquisition interest by the operator must be disclosed.
Aspiring Captains registration
The registration fee is $19.99 one time, with no recurring charge. Read the registration terms before paying. Payments are final except where required by applicable law. Membership will not guarantee a boat or selection by an owner.
